The Division of Purchasing is responsible for procuring the goods and services required by staff/departments to enable the Township to fulfill it’s mission of serving it’s residents while ensuring compliance with all applicable New Jersey State procurement laws.


The Purchasing Division is also responsible for the oversight of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Clean Communities Program and Historic Preservation projects/grants.

The Division of Purchasing administers the federally funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), under the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  This program provides grants for community development activities that benefit persons of low and moderate income, prevent or eliminate blight areas, and meet urgent community development needs for which no other resources are available.
