Emily Peterson is an executive chef and culinary educator. Her work has been featured in Edible, Modern Farmer, Martha Stewart, Robb Report, The New York Times, The Village Voice, Time Out NY, Huffington Post, CBS, NBC, FOX, Food Network, Vegetarian Times and Fine Cooking. She has taught in the food studies department at NYU and Montclair State Universities and is currently the lead chef of recreational cooking at the Institute of Culinary Education in lower Manhattan.
Stewards of the historic Livingston-Benedict House in Parsippany, Emily lives with her husband, son, a flock of chickens and a dog named Rooster.
Emily is council liaison to the public library, environmental and transparency committees and the Morris County League of Municipalities.
