Stormwater runoff is generated from rain and snowmelt events that flow over land or impervious surfaces, such as paved streets, parking lots, and building rooftops, and does not soak into the ground. Parsippany has an extensive Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP).
The Township seeks to adopt greater stormwater controls, as appropriate, which will provide significant water quality and flood risk reduction benefits to the Township and its residents. The provisions of the ordinance are intended to supplement existing requirements. Click here to view the ordinance.
